  7. SAM:Print is an interactive print spool queue manager that functionally
  8. replaces the UNIX "lp" and "lpr" commands.  SAM:Print manages multiple
  9. printers, printing styles, and special forms in one esay-to-use product.  From
  10. the main SAM:Print display screen, users can see and manipulate print jobs
  11. that are waiting to be completed.  Print jobs can be recovered and restarted
  12. from where they were suspended, priorities can be changed for print files when
  13. demands are high, and test patterns printed for forms alignment.  In addition,
  14. to interactive print queue management, SAM:Print allows the administrator to
  15. set security controls at the group and individual level and track print costs
  16. using the built-in chargeback/cost accounting system.  SAM:Print is a member
  17. of the SCH:SAM suite; a set of platform-independent UNIX system management
  18. tools, SCH:SAM is available for both character and X window (motif) terminals.
  19. SAM:Print is available as an individual component or as part of the bundled
  20. SCH:SAM suite.
